About
Bruce Piercy devoted his professional life of 35 years to making a difference in the lives of disadvantaged youth. Throughout his career working with his wife (Janele) of Nelli, Inc. Bruce played a vital role in developing and supporting programs throughout the country that provided guidance, education and opportunities to young people facing challenging circumstances. Bruce was a steady advocate and guide for young people facing difficult circumstances, always working to ensure they had the support and structure they needed to grow and succeed. His compassion, commitment and steady presence touched countless lives, leaving a lasting impact on the community he served.
Outside of his professional life, Bruce is passionate about sports and traveling the world. He especially loves racquetball, pickle ball and cycling. He could often be found sharing his enthusiasm for fitness and healthy living with friends and family. His warmth, integrity and quiet strength has left a lasting impression on all who know him.
Bruce and Janele Piercy dedicated their entire working careers towards helping foster children and endangered youth. It was always their dream to continue helping after they retired.
Janele passed in November 2023 and in her honor we have started Nelli as a way to help the local community. Janeles nickname was “Nelli” so we turned it into an acronym that supported our mission and began paperwork to become an official IRS Non-Profit organization to help Foster Care youth in Utah.
Meet the Faces behind NELLI
Tausha Wierlo
The oldest child of Bruce & Janele, Tausha (and arguably the favorite), lives as an Army Wife and mother to two children in North Carolina. She has a Bachelor’s in Behavioral Science and dreams of completing her Master’s in Library Science to become a Librarian.
Tausha is the aesthetic eye behind Nelli, so you can find her behind social media accounts, making sure that she keeps her mother’s spirit alive. Tausha enjoys reading, taking pictures, traveling, chasing around her kids, crossing items off her Bucket List, and making sure each day is full of miracles.
