2025 Comes to an End….
With Grateful Hearts, Thank You for an Incredible First Year.
As Nelli, Inc. closes the chapter on our very first year, we do so with overwhelming gratitude and hope. What began as a vision to bring comfort, dignity, and love to children entering foster care has grown into a community effort - because of you. Janele (our Nelli) wanted to change the world, one child at a time. She had a dream of providing cozy essentials to foster care youth to try to make their lives a little bit brighter - and because of her, we are making that dream a reality.
To our volunteers: thank you for your time, your hands, and your hearts. Whether you sewed quilts, organized donations, or shared our mission, your service made a tangible difference in the lives of children during some of their hardest moments.
To our donors: your generosity has turned compassion into action. Because of you, children were given suitcases instead of garbage bags, stuffed animals for comfort, and quilts that say, "You matter".
To DCFS: thank you for your partnership, trust, and tireless work on behalf of vulnerable children. We are honored to support you and stand beside you in caring for those entering foster care.
To the lawyers and advocates who support and protect these children and families: thank you for being a steady voice and a source of stability during uncertain times.
And to the general public - those who shared our story, followed our journey, prayed, encouraged, and spread awareness - thank you for believing in this mission and helping it grow.
Because of all of you, Nelli, Inc. has been able to serve with compassion, dignity, and purpose.
Looking ahead to 2026, our hope is simple and strong:
To keep showing up.
To continue supporting DCFS.
To keep placing suitcases, stuffed animals, and handmade quilts into the hands of children who need comfort most.
