DCFS

We are grateful to share that as of December 8, 2025, Nelli, Inc., is now supporting all five DCFS regions across the state of Utah.  This milestone allows us to reach more children, foster families, and caseworkers than ever before.

The Utah Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS) works to ensure the safety, well-being, and permanency of children and youth across our state.  DCFS responds to reports of abuse or neglect, supports families in crisis, and, when necessary, places children in foster care while working toward safe reunification or permanent homes.  Their mission is centered on protecting children while strengthening families.

At Nelli, Inc., our mission is to support children and families involved in the foster care system by standing alongside DCFS.  We provide suitcases, stuffed animals and quilts that help meet the immediate needs of children entering care and the families caring for them.  Our goal is to bring dignity, hope, and stability during some of the most difficult  moments in a child's life.

None of this would be possible without our incredible community.  A big and generous thank-you to our volunteers and to everyone who has supported our mission through donations, supply drives, partnerships, and prayers.  Your compassion and generosity are truly changing lives.
